Changes to the public API and to these docs, newest first.

2026-10-23: Docs rebuilt; OpenAPI document

  • New: GET /api/v1/openapi.json, an OpenAPI 3.1 description of every public endpoint, generated from the same source as these pages.
  • Newly documented: GET /health, GET /oauth/providers, GET /discover, and errors and rate limits.
  • Corrected to match the code: the AI query answer is an object (text in answer.summary); the trading-card fields; which request fields are validated but not yet used; and starting OAuth from your server, since it needs your key.
  • Removed latency, cache-rate and provider-count figures that had no measurement behind them.
  • Listed the known issues, including three endpoints that currently fail with 401 after the key is accepted.
  • Each topic now has its own page and link. Old links such as /docs#trade-execution redirect to the new page.

2026-07-25: Signed confirmation tokens

  • Trade confirmation tokens are signed, expire 5 minutes after prepare, and are accepted only for the account they were issued to.

2026-06-30: Plaid removed

  • Plaid can no longer be connected. GET /oauth/plaid returns 400.

2026-04-05: Live trading needs Partner

  • POST /trading/execute returns 403 unless the account is on the Partner plan.

2026-03-16: Pro renamed Partner

  • The Pro plan is now called Partner. Keys created since report it in X-API-Key-Tier as partner.

2026-03-04: Coinbase switched off

  • GET /oauth/coinbase and GET /oauth/coinbase/status return 410.

2026-01-30: Paid plan required

  • Every API request needs an active paid plan on the account that owns the key. Without one it gets 401.

2025-11-24: Scopes

  • Keys can be limited to chosen scopes when they are created. Keys created without a choice keep every scope.
